A Small Print Shop With A Specific Promise
Them 3D Print Guys is a small custom 3D print shop based in Washington State, USA. We make designer 3D models to order, in the exact colors you pick, and we ship them straight to your door across the United States.
Why We Exist
3D printing has a hidden audience problem. There are incredible designers publishing beautiful, articulated, technical models every week, but the people who'd love to own one of those prints often don't have a printer, don't want to debug filament jams, and don't want to wait six hours watching layer-line ASMR.
We exist in the middle. We license models from the designers who created them, we print them in our shop on professional consumer printers, and we let you choose every color, so the print that arrives is unmistakably yours, not just one off a shelf.
Every model in the shop has individually customisable parts. Pick a colour for each one and watch the live 3D preview update in real time.
No shelf of finished inventory. Your order goes onto our printers the moment it comes in, and ships once the print clears quality check.
We license through STLflix so we can share these designs with you. Where the original designer is named on the file, we credit them on the product page.
How A Print Reaches You
Place an order on the shop with your colour selections. We get a notification within seconds and the file goes into our print queue. Depending on the model's complexity:
- 01 Your order joins our active print queue.
- 02 Print runs for anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days, depending on size and colour count.
- 03 We inspect the finished print, photograph it for our QC log, and trim any remaining supports.
- 04 Packaged and shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.
Typical timeline: simple models (1–3 parts) ship within 3–5 business days. Complex multi-part builds can take up to 1–2 weeks. See the Process page for a step-by-step breakdown.
You get email updates at every stage: order confirmed, printing started, quality check passed, shipped with tracking. Want to see what real customer prints look like? Check the Customer Gallery.
The Shop Floor
We run a small, professional consumer-grade FDM setup. Two printers, multi-material units. The big printer handles up to 8 distinct colours per print. That's the cap for any single model. The second printer (4 colours) runs in parallel so multiple orders can move at once.
Our quick-turnaround printer for everyday catalog work. Fast, reliable, perfect for small-to-medium prints with four or fewer colours.
The big one. Handles complex multi-colour prints up to eight distinct filaments: articulated models, multi-part scenes, anything ambitious.
We print exclusively in PLA, PLA+, and Silk PLA from reputable brands. The catalog grows based on customer demand. If there's a colour you want, suggest it and we'll evaluate adding it. Specialty filaments (silks, glow-in-the-dark, multi-colour blends) sit in a curated premium tier with a small upcharge per model.
Crediting The Designers
Every model we sell came from somebody's CAD file. We work through STLflix, an authorised 3D print file marketplace, where we hold a yearly license that covers the catalog we print from. The designers who upload to STLflix are the people who made these models possible. Without them there's no shop.
Where the original designer is listed and identifiable, we credit them on the product page. Not every file ships with a designer name attached. When that happens we'd rather say "STLflix authorised seller" honestly than guess. If you recognise a model by an uncredited designer, drop us a note and we'll add the attribution.
